Earth Day was this past weekend, so I thought it would be fun to put a little nature on my blog.
Craig and I don’t get out of Phoenix very often, which is a shame because Arizona has so much more to offer than a hot desert. Just one or two hours north of Phoenix is beautiful landscape with cooler temperatures. So when we do get a chance to head up North, we go!
We had an opportunity to go to the Mogollon Rim a few months ago with some friends. I didn’t take many photos at the “Rim” (I was being lazy), but I did manage to capture a few keepsakes.
Yes, that was a real live tarantula walking around. Just a little creepy!!
This past weekend, I met my family in Sedona (they were visiting from the East Coast). It was awesome to spend time with them, especially, in such a magical place like Sedona.
My nephew, Jake, took these next two photos of my other nephew, Zach, walking on the log.
Our time together involved a lot of hiking (or at least a lot for me). It took a few days for my legs to recover!
Look carefully at this next photo. Can you see something high in the rocks? That would be my crazy nephew!
Self timers… the only way I ever end up in a photo!
This is my beautiful sister…
Until next time Sedona… and family (sniff sniff). I’ll miss you!
